Review Text

That Jones kid is back with more suggestions and tips on weapons for the manhunt. This time it's what you do with what you've got above the neck. Miss Jones writes with a professional casualness about such topics as wrinkle removers, creams, soaps, bases, hair management, foundations, shading, eye makeup, etc. She combines a general discussion with specific comment: labels the recent fad of hair "ironing" ridiculous"; offers tips on brew it yourself makeup bases; presents a cosmetic vocabulary with definitions; explores the real value of over-priced makeup; mentions that smoking may be a possible cause of dandruff; suggests specific makeup for brides and nurses and even for those few worrying about a first appearance on color television; and provides a special question and answer session at the end of each section for very special problems. A neat handbook for feminine "social security." Chins up, girls. (Kirkus Reviews)
