About Dr Jeremy R Hawke Pod

Dr Jeremy Hawke (Podiatrist) lives in Cairns, Queensland Australia. He is a Director of Hip2Toe Podiatry. Jeremy has a Bachelor of Applied science and a Master of International Relations. His interest in human movement and activity includes a background as a professional dancer. He has also been a competitive swimmer and marathon runner. With an interest in government policy, he has been involved in policy development for health care delivery in Australia, including consulting work for sporting teams at the state, national and international level. He is a professional member of Sports medicine Australia and is endorsed to prescribe scheduled medicines by the Podiatry Board of Australia. He has advanced skills in musculoskeletal medicine and has carried out further training in Managing and understanding obesity and advanced skills in musculoskeletal ultrasound and sonographic diagnostics. He is married with one daughter, and enjoys regular running, bush walking, swimming and golf in his spare time. He is presently working on his second book on the subject of heart health. He continues to be a passionate and motivating presenter on health and well-being topics to both health professionals and the general public in Australia.show more
