About John Howze
John Howze was born in Michigan, but raised on his father's home-place after the family returned to the mountains of East Tennessee when he was five. Educated at East Tennessee State University, where he earned a degree in journalism, he spent a decade working in print media in Tennessee and Idaho before a 22-year career in writing, editing and corporate communications at Idaho National Laboratory, the nation's premier nuclear research and development facility. He and his wife Shawna have three children and two grandchildren. They love the outdoors, particularly camping in beautiful outdoor Idaho. Their life avocation is serving others who are in need -- and sharing their love of Christ with believers and nonbelievers alike. The couple resides in Idaho Falls, where John has already begun his next writing adventures. He welcomes inquiries about his poems from publishers, musicians and literary agents.
