The salesroom, which is located on the first floor, and which is 25x45 feet in dimensions, is stocked with a full and complete line of handsome parlor furniture in all kinds of woods and upholstering, aud also of mattresses, lounges, etc. The workrooms are located on the two upper floors, each of which is 25XWJ feet in dimensions. The equipments of the factory, which is operated by steam-power, include machinery of all kinds necessary for the business; and the products, which are made after new and original designs, bear an enviable reputation in the market for durability, fine finish, and attractiveness. Ten hands are employed, and a specialty is made of fine plush suits and leather work. As all the operations of manufacturing are performed on the premises, Mr. Reis is enabled to produce the best of goods at a minimum cost, and to otter inducements to the trade, both in quality and price, not easily procured elsewhere. The house enjoys a large local trade, and also does a large business throughout the neighboring States. Mr. Reis, who is twenty-four years of age and a native of this city, is a very enterprising and energetic young businei-s man. Chas. F.
