Excerpt: ...person, shall exhibit, or cause to be exhibited, or aid in exhibiting, at any place in this state, rope dancing, tumbling, tricks or puppet shows, for he purpose of gain, or for any gratuity, every person so offending in either of said particulars, shall forfeit and pay the sum of fifty dollars to any person who will sue for the same before any justice of the peace, with costs of suit, proceeding therefor, according to the "Act for the recovery of small 6v debts," with a right of appeal under the same provisions as therein provided. Section 2. And be it further enacted, That Penalty on if any person or persons shall wilfully suffer to be wner of '?n.ds', r -..
