Excerpt: ...ordained, That it shall be the inspected-duty of the City Inspector, with the aid of the assistants to the Board of Health, to inspect, or cause to be inspected, all houses reported as aforesaid, as often as he shall judge necessary, and at least once a week from the first day of May to the first day of November. City Inspector XXVIII. And be it further ordained, That the said City to make weekly reports. Inspector shall make a weekly report to the Mayor, of his proceedings in the-execution of this ordinance. And no person shall prevent the Inspector or any of his agents from inspecting as aforesaid, or resist him or them, or any of them, in the performance of any of his or their duties, under the penalty of twenty-five dollars for each offence.-record re-XXIX. And be it further ordained, That it shall be the 4c-duty of the said City Inspector, to record all reports made to him by the measurers, weighmasters and inspectors, appointed by the Common Council, and to make an aggregate report of the same, in February, in every year.
