The Last Full Moon
Two love stories are woven through this tale of a special bond between two women. A generation older, Iris Greene befriends Cleome Linden. Iris becomes mother, mentor, and minister to the spiritually lost Cleome. Iris' love for her late husband Quince, and the tales she tells over homemade soup and warm bread, allow Cleome to confront and embrace her feelings for her husband Frank. "The Last Full Moon" compares and contrasts society's attitude toward World War II and Vietnam soldiers, as seen through the eyes of women who loved them.
