An immensely gifted Roman ballerina, Diana Ferrara was trained at the Scuola del Teatro dell Opera di Roma, where she has spent her entire career. Having risen to the highest rank in her art that of etoile she has performed in the leading international theaters as guest artist paired with some of the most popular stars of world dance such as Rudolf Nureyev, Vladimir Vassiliev, Peter Schaufuss, and Denis Ganio. Ferrara founded the Astra Roma Ballet, which she has been directing for the past twenty-seven years, and she is also intensively engaged in teaching programs.
