King takes the reader on a hallucinatory journey through a week in the life of a lowly grocery clerk driven to the breaking point. Addiction and desire for control shatter reality into a kaleidoscopic vision where the splendour of erotic dreams merge with brutality and gore. Pleasure gardens intersect with bloody violence in grimy suburban streets to create a story that explores the distortion of ideals and reality.

About S C Clarke
S. C. Clarke is an Australian born writer currently living in Seoul, South Korea. Raised on a steady diet of science fiction and fantasy, his passion for creative writing was discovered at an early age. After studying theatre and film production, then working for several years in their respective industries, he decided to focus his attention on writing due to an innately destructive desire for complete creative control. Last year saw the arrival of his first novella, "King." Current plans entail an assortment of shorts to be released throughout 2015 as work continues on his second novel.
