About Princess Takamado

Brian Wildsmith was brought up in the mining village of Penistone in the United Kingdom and won a scholarship to the Slade School of Fine Art, where he studied for three years. He has won a worldwide reputation as a children's book artist. He is married, with four children, and now lives in the south of France. Her Imperial Highness Princess Hisako Takamado was born in Tokyo. She studied at Cambridge and Harvard before marrying His Imperial Highness Prince Norihito in 1984.show more
