About P. G. Wodehouse

P G Wodehouse was born in Guildford in 1881. He was a prolific writer who, in Jeeves and Wooster, created two of the most popular characters of the 20th Century. He was created a Knight of the British Empire in 1975 and said in a BBC interview that he had no ambitions left now that he had been knighted and there was waxwork of him in Madame Tussauds.
