The Honourable Mr. Lougheed moved, seconded by the Honourable Sir Mackenzie Bowell, That a Message be sent to the House of Commons by one of the Masters in Chancery, to communicate to that House the evidence taken before the Standing Committee on Divorce, to whom was referred petition of Eileen Mary Mackintosh; praying for a Bill of Divorce and the papers produced in evidence before them, with a request that the same be returned to this House. The question of concurrence being put thereon, the same was, on a division, resolved in the affirmative, and Ordered accordingly. The Order of the Day being read for putting the House again into a Committee of the Whole on Bill (C) intituled: "An Act to further amend the General Inspection Act." On motion of the Honourable Mr. Scott, seconded by the Honourable Mr. Power, it was Ordered, That the same be postponed until Tuesday next. The Order of the Day being read for the Second Reading of the Bill (100) intituled: "An Act respecting the Alberta Railway and Irrigation Company." On motion of the Honourable Mr. Lougheed, seconded by the Honourable Sir Mackenzie Bowell, it was Ordered, That the same be postponed until Tuesday next. Pursuant to the Order of the Day, the Bill (155) intituled: "An Act to amend the Criminal Code, 1892," was read a second time. On motion of the Honourable Mr. Scott, seconded by the Honourable Mr. Power, it was Ordered, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the Whole House on Tuesday next.
