YY. Lester; For the county of Pike, James Johnson; For the county of Hancock, Elam S. Freeman; For the couuty of Knox, Hi: mey J. Runele; For the county of Champaigne, Matthew W. Busey; For the county of Clark, Uar Manly; and For the county of Jo Daviess, Elijah Charles. The vote for Judge of Probate for Clark county stood For Uri Manly, 82 " Joshua P. Cooper, 17 " Scattering, 9 For Judge of Probate for Jo Daviess county, .Elijah Charles, 63 Abner Eads, 43 Scattering, b The vote for Judge of Probate for McLean stood upon the first ballot, For Cheney Thomas, 53 " Weleome P. Brown, 48 " Scattering, 13 Whereupon, no person having received a majority of all the votes given, the two Houses proceeded to ballot a second time for Judge of Probate of McLean county, when the vote stood thus--For Cheney Thomas, 53 " Weleome P. Brown, 52 " Scattering, 3 No person having received a majority of all the totes given, the two Houses proceeded to ballot a third time for the aforesaid office, when the vote stood--For Cheney Thomas, 51 " Weleome P. Brown, 50 " Scattering, 3 No person having still received a majority of all the votes given, the two Houses proceeded to ballot a fourth time for the said office, when the vote stood thus--For Cheney Thomas, 52 " Weleome P. Brown, 56 " Scattering, 3 And thereupon, Weleome P.
