John Hilton (born March 12, 1942 in Albany, New York) is a former American football tight end who played nine seasons in the National Football League. He played college football for the University of Richmond. He prepared for college by attending Fork Union Military Academy as a postgraduate in the 1959-1960 academic year where he played football and basketball. He was drafted in the 6th Round (76th overall) of the 1964 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions. He then played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Green Bay Packers, the Minnesota Vikings, and returned to the Detroit Lions to play one last year in the NFL.
