Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. John Chick (born November 20, 1982 in Gillette, Wyoming) is a gridiron football defensive end for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League, and a Type-1 diabetic. He was signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent in 2006. He played college football at Utah State. He spent 2008-2009 with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. In 2009, Chick had laser vision correction with LASIK MD. Then Chick was named the CFL's Most Outstanding Defensive Player in 2009, earning him a contract with the NFL's Indianapolis Colts in January 2010. On September 5th 2010, the Colts delegated Chick to the practice squad. He accepted their offer in lieu of returning to play for the Roughriders in 2010-2011 due to the likelihood of seeing some playing time in the NFL if a player on the Colts defensive line is injured.
