With his tight leather pants and a sharp edge that makes him dangerous, Jet Keller is every girl's rock and roll fantasy. But Ayden Cross is done walking on the wild side with bad boys. She doesn't want to give in to the heat she sees in Jet's dark, haunted eyes. She's afraid of getting burned from the sparks of their spontaneous combustion, even as his touch sets her on fire.

Jet can't resist the Southern Belle with mile-long legs in cowboy boots who defies his every expectation. Yet the closer he feels to Ayden, the less he seems to know her. While he's tempted to get under her skin and undo her in every way, he knows firsthand what happens to two people with very different ideas about relationships.

Will the blaze burn into an enduring love. . . or will it consume their dreams and turn them to ashes?

Don't miss the latest bad boy in Jay Crownover's unforgettable New Adult series.

Favourite Quote: â??Sometimes, things need to change because there just isnâ??t any way for them to stay the same.â?? After reading and loving the first book in this series, Rule, a few days ago I knew I had to pick up the sequel immediately! Iâ??m sad to say I didnâ??t enjoy this one nearly as much as the first and give it a 3/5 stars! First off, I really liked the characterâ??s, I connected with them both individually but for some reason I couldnâ??t connect with them together! Thereâ??s Jet who is troubled but very talented almost rock star and I just loved him! He was such a good guy and I felt for him with all his family issues. Then thereâ??s Ayden who I also loved, I especially loved her dedication to her family! Together, however I just didnâ??t seem to feel the bond and connection and that affected my overall enjoyment of the book! I felt their relationship escalated a little too quickly for me, especially towards the end! However the other side characters in the book were awesome as always!! Onto the plot, I liked the all the family issues dealt with, I felt they were done well but I felt at some points there was just some much going on! And I think thatâ??s the reason why the relationship with the two characters was affected, they each had too much of their own issues to deal with! That being said I did still enjoy most of the plotlines, there were interesting and gave good depth to the characters! Overall for me this novel was okay. I liked it but didnâ??t love it! Still recommend this series to contemporary or NA lovers!show more
