Jesus Christ changed the course of history. His birth marks the dating of man's calendars: Before Christ (B.C.) and the Year of our Lord (A.D. - anno domini). He can change your life. "Jesus said, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through me'" (John 14:6). The purpose of Jesus Christ's life and death are succinctly explained. You will learn why you need to know Jesus Christ. You will have a tool to explain to another why they need to know Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ's message to the world was simple, 'Believe in Me' (John 11:25). Christ is the solution to man's problem with God. The Apostle Paul said it best, "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8).show more

About Mary L Lyon

Mary was a senior in college when she committed her life to the Lordship of Christ. Upon graduation, rather than pursue her engineering career, she became a missionary. Often she was asked why she gave up the money and the opportunities offered her as a woman engineer. Her response was always that she did not give up anything. If God wanted her to be an engineer again one day, she would be. Twenty years later she was getting her Master's Degree in Engineering Management and her Professional Engineering License in Mechanical Engineering. Earlier she had received her Master's Degree in Counseling. Mary would say the path she followed is the one God planned for her. He has walked with her the whole way. One of her favorite comments is from The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom - There are no ifs in the will of God. She is retired now and is focusing on writing and ministry. She lives with family in Sacramento, more
