September 21, 1940, Alma, Nebraska) is an American jazz guitarist. Hahn studied at Wichita State University, then moved to San Francisco in 1962, where he played with John Handy (1964-66). He toured with The 5th Dimension in 1968 and worked with Gary Burton in 1968-69. In addition to leading his own album in 1967, he led a country-rock ensemble, the Jerry Hahn Brotherhood, early in the 1970s. Later in the decade he became a teacher at Wichita State University, and did less active performing until 1986, when he moved to Portland, Oregon. There he played locally full-time, and after moving to Colorado in 1993, he began recording again under his own name.
