Park Jaebeom (born April 25, 1987), also known as Jay Park, is an American b-boy, dancer, singer, rapper, songwriter, celebrity, composer, producer and actor. He was a former member and leader of South Korean boyband 2PM, and is part of Seattle-based b-boy crew Art of Movement. As a young Korean-American born and raised in Edmonds, Washington, Park showed great interest in hip hop music and breakdancing in particular. He joined a local b-boy crew called Art of Movement (AOM) during his early high school years. In 2004, he auditioned in Seattle for Korea-based JYP Entertainment (JYPE).
