Jeffery Allen Williams (born 27 September 1960 in Biloxi, Mississippi) is an American animator, writer, producer, musician, and director as well as founder and current CEO of Parallax Studio. He is most known for having written, animated, edited, produced, and directed the independent science fiction computer game Darkstar: The Interactive Movie almost entirely from his studio in Nixa, Missouri. J. Allen Williams was born 27 September 1960 in Biloxi, Mississippi. He later moved to Kansas City, Missouri where he attended the Kansas City Art Institute. He eventually started his own band under the moniker "Carmen Wilder" and began working with musicians Bill Bruce, Jimmy Pitts, Brent Frazier, and James Lee Dillard - all of whom would later go on to take part in the creation of the Darkstar soundtrack.
