ABOUT THE AUTHOR Maurizio Bisogno spent the first 21 years of his life in the beautiful region of Campania in Southern Italy. His natal village is located not far from the sea and is at the bottom of a breathtaking mountain. Maurizio's interest in philosophy and writing began when he was 15. He had to understand politics beyond what was appearing to him. Maurizio needed to study theories, not just pragmatic events. He also had a need for introspection. Karl Marx, Antonio Gramsci, Frederick Nietzsche and Giacomo Leopardi were among his 'companions'. Maurizio attended The University of Salerno, The University of Naples and The University of Fribourg. He graduated with a Masters Of Arts in Philosophy. He has written poems, articles, short essays and his book, La Filosofia e la Vita. He also focuses on philosophical counselling. Maurizio and his work are unique since his life revolves around study and application of philosophy and psychology. His research does not follow 'present-day laboratory team-work'. His work is that of an individual thinker. Maurizio's understanding of what philosophy is, is rooted in the ancient Greek philosophy, but he has still developed his own way to walk the path. Maurizio says that life and its manifestations inspire him to do what he does. Maurizio is currently living working in Ireland. He takes care of his family and continues to pursue his philosophical research and more
