Nigel Lesmoir-Gordon is a producer of television documentaries. Will Rood studied mathematics at Cambridge University. His fractal animations have graced many television documentaries and his artwork has featured on numerous magazines, posters and CD sleeves. Ralph Edney trained as a mathematician, and has worked as a teacher, journalist, illustrator and political cartoonist.

Fractals can be difficult to wrap your head around and this book did a great job in explaining them to a reader with a basic knowledge of maths. I found this book to be thought provoking but found that sometimes concepts were not explored deeply enough to provide the reader with the tools to fully understand the concepts and diagrams being presented. It did however instill a sense of wonder and curiosity that urges the reader to continue on their journey by reading the 'Suggested Readings' at the end. This book is one that will have a beautiful impact on the way that you view the natural world around you. Highly more
