Inside the Shuttered Room : Verbal Abuse Through Poems and Photographs
Inside the Shuttered Room is a collection of original poems and photographs by a verbal abuse survivor. They reflect the artist's feelings from inside verbal abuse, recreating images and evoking emotions that verbal abuse victims experience. Her goal is two-fold: to help non-abuse victims understand what verbal abuse does to those who have suffered it, and to encourage those who have or are currently experiencing verbal abuse.
