Heidi Barnes started her life as any young person would. Getting a job, graduated high school, and getting married. However, after one year of marriage Heidi and her husband found themselves homeless. Despite the fact they are both full time, hard working adults, they could not make ends meet. Heidi learned that the homeless have to face great injustice on a daily basis, and how our society compounds the problem. There are many misconceptions that most people have about the homeless such as "Why don't they just get a job " or "Homeless people choose to live that way " If you yourself have ever thought're not alone. These are huge misconceptions that most people in our society think. Included in this book are her personal journal entrees while she was homeless. Please join her on her journey while she not only faces these issues and injustices, but confronts them head on to try and make a difference.
