Petitions for the application of civil service reform rules to the Indian service have been forwarded to the President of the United States; $100 has been sent to Dr. John Robinson, at Sisseton; a box valued at $32, to Mr. Schermerhon, of the Choctaw nation; and magazines and papers to Warm Springs. This Society is enlisting its forces specially for the Florida Seminoles just at present, and $150 have been voted to build a mission cottage for the new Mission.
