Review Text

John Brock, ex-part-time spy who has been seen before in It Won't Get You Anywhere (1966) but you'll have fun entertainment, returns here as a flip talking advertising genius. Until he unwittingly gets into a bash with the agency's top client Tommy Tranter, the midget monolith maker. It's timely for Tranter who is being blackmailed by a seedy consultant firm. He forces Brock to stop them but the major suspect is dead before arrival. Only the British could make a case as complicated as this since Brock chases around London alternately being coshed by villains or climbing into bed with Tranter's varied assortment of shapely secretaries. Not to mention Tranter's petite divine daughter. Extravagant nonsense for a Sellers (Peter) market. (Kirkus Reviews)show more
