He represented his native country at the 1952 Winter Olympics in Oslo, where he came in eighteenth in the men's downhill event. Colli was killed when he crashed into a tree during a ski race at 50 miles per hour. A ski course at Cortina d'Ampezzo was named in his honor. Skiing is a recreational activity using skis as equipment for traveling over snow. Skis are used in conjunction with boots that connect to the ski with use of a binding.show more
