About the Translator Ennis Rees is Emeritus Professor of English at the University of South Carolina. He is the author of The Tragedies of George Chapman: Renaissance Ethics in Action and of two volumes of verse, The Song of Paul Bunyon and Tony Beaver and Riddles, Riddles Everywhere.
