Hykeham railway station serves the town of North Hykeham in Lincolnshire, England. It is on the Nottingham to Lincoln Line. There was once a nearby station at Thorpe on the Hill, but it was closed for lack of use. The station has two platforms, which are staggered over a level crossing and feature basic facilities. North Hykeham is technically a town immediately south of Lincoln, in the county of Lincolnshire, England. In reality, however, it forms part of the greater Lincoln urban sprawl, comprising 4,915 dwellings. It was originally spelt North Hyckham, and is commonly referred to as just Hykeham.show more
