How To Make A Small Church Grow
One of the most difficult things to do is to take a church, that has been small for a long time, and cause it to grow. It is difficult at best. It requires a great deal of prayer and a well laid plan. You cannot just go into the task and "wing it." If you don't have a plan going in then you are destined for failure. How do I know that it is difficult to cause a small church to grow? Because the average church in America has an attendance of just sixty five! Only one percent of churches are over one thousand in attendance. As I am writing this book 59 churches a day are closing their doors. I don't want to be average and I don't believe you do either. You may not want a church of thousands but you definitely want to do more than you are presently doing. As with any task you need to know what you are doing and how to go about it. This book is designed to give you an outline of things to look at and help you think through each step that you plan to take.
