Mr. Clough's Cottage has II inch brick hollow external walls on ground floor, and above this tile-hung vertical framing 4 feet 3 inches high on the first floor to the springing of the roof. One bedroom on ground floor. Stairs enclosed only by matchboarding. Total area of coitage 435 sqare feet. Cost about 4d. per cubic foot.
