Our customer reviews

In STARGAZER we finally learn more about Lucas' background and life in Blackcross. I liked the Blackcross charaters as much as the Evernight cast, maybe even more. The vampires might be driven by raw instincts, but Blackcross members are taught to be tough. STARGAZER was exciting, but Bianca's and Lucas' situation in HOURGLASS is even more intense. Although they can be together 24/7, they haven't one single second to enjoy their new closeness since they are now spending their days with Blackcross. The constant danger surrounding them is what adds more pep to their relationship. This novel is marked by unexpected events. I wanted to see how Gray was going to solve certain conflicts. In the end she solved them but at the same time created new ones. Something very uncommon for YA happens in this novel, which surprised me and I admire Gray's chose that path. So that we don't get bored by its dominant love story, Claudia Gray involves new villains to uphold the story's drive. I experienced HOURGLASS as a rather serious and poetic book with its happy moments that have a bittersweet aftertaste. THE VERDICT EVERNIGHT fans prepare yourselves for an awesome, varied third novel, that leaves you craving the final instalment!show more
