Holly Walsh is an English comedian and comedy writer from Guildford in Surrey, known mainly for her work on TV and radio in the UK.Walsh attended Christ's Hospital School between the age of 11 and 18, before going on to read Art History at Cambridge University. In her twenties she worked in the art world in small, contemporary art galleries in east London. While working in galleries, Walsh attended comedy writing evening classes including Stand Up And Deliver and as a direct result wrote for Jo Caulfield on BBC Radio 4. In 2006 she switched to comedy full time, retiring from the art world. In 2007 Walsh was approached by Frank Skinner to appear in a TV pilot, Frank Skinner's Skateboarding Dog for Avalon Entertainment. Walsh was runner-up in AmusedMoose LaughOff 2006 on the Edinburgh Fringe, appeared at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2007 and 2008, and appeared - between writing and filming - at Afterhours as well as co-hosting the AmusedMoose LaughOff 2009 with Jack Whitehallshow more
