Description

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Hoek van Holland Strand is a railway station in Hoek van Holland, the Netherlands. The railway station consists of two tracks on a bay platform, and is the final station on the Hoekse Lijn, the rail connection between Hoek van Holland and Rotterdam. The railway station was opened on June 1, 1893. Its name is derived from the nearby North Sea beach, strand being Dutch for "beach." From April to October all trains to Hoek van Holland between 8 am and 9 pm have Hoek van Holland Strand as final destination. These trains operate twice an hour. Trains before 8 am and after 9 pm terminate at Hoek van Holland Haven.show more
