Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Hodges Figgis, Ireland's largest bookshop[citation needed], is located on Dawson Street, Dublin, Republic of Ireland. It was founded in the 18th century (1768) and is mentioned in passing in James Joyce's novel Ulysses. The shop has moved at least three times in the last hundred years. The store briefly housed a coffee shop on the first floor, but this was removed in 2002 during renovations to allow expansion of the space used for the shelving of stock. It is the largest bookshop in Ireland, stocking approximately 60,000 titles over four floors, specializing in Irish related titles, fiction, bargain books and academic titles. Hodges Figgis also operate the student bookshop in Dublin City University.show more
