Born in Germany. Emigrated to US in1953. B. S. from University of Puget Sound and a PhD. from University of Hawaii. He retired after a career in chemical research with Dupont .He lived in Germany, Pacific Northwest, Hawaii, Wilmington, DE, West Chester, PA. Now enjoys retirement with his wife Dorothy in The Pinehills in Plymouth, MA, hiking in the area, traveling, and visiting family and grandchildren in California, Hawaii, Pennsylvania, and Washington State.
