Fans of Maggie Stiefvater and Colleen Houck will love this epic tale of forbidden romance and nail-biting action from New York Times bestselling author Sophie Jordan.

In the climactic finale to the steamy Firelight trilogy, Jacinda must fight to save her life, her love, and all of her kind.

If Jacinda were to follow the wishes of her community, she'd happily settle down with Cassian, the prince of her pride. But she just can't. She's in love with Will, a human boy who comes from a family of hunters.

Their relationship breaks the most sacred rule and endangers everyone she cares about. Now Jacinda, Will, and Cassian fight back against the hunters and their shadowy allies who would destroy them all. . . .

Praise for FIRELIGHT Jordan executes a refreshing and exciting tale of forbidden supernatural love and desire. Jacinda is strong and spunky, just like her story. A dangerous journey.
Shattered bonds.
Undying passion.

Jacinda was supposed to bond with Cassian, the "prince" of their pride. But she resisted her fate long before she fell in love with Will--a human and, worse, a hunter. When she ran away with Will, it ended in disaster, with Cassian's sister, Miram, captured. Weighed down by guilt, Jacinda knows she must rescue her to set things right. Yet to do so she will have to venture deep into the heart of enemy territory.

The only way Jacinda can reach Miram is by posing as a prisoner herself, though once she assumes that disguise, things quickly spiral out of her control. As she learns more about her captors, she realizes that even if Will and Cassian can carry out their part of the plan, there's no guarantee they'll all make it out alive. But what Jacinda never could have foreseen is that escaping would be only the beginning. . . .

Loyalties are tested and sacrifices made in the explosive conclusion to Sophie Jordan's Firelight trilogy.

Check out my book blog for more book related stuff, like book tours, and giveaways and more. Michelle's Paranormal Vault of Books http://concisebookreviewsbymichelle.blogspot.com So sad to see the series end! I LOVED this book, the ending was great, all loose ends tied up nicely. It really was done well. I get nervous at times when a series comes to a close, but this one was great. I was sad at times, but won't tell you why, as to not spoil it. If you're a fan of this series, you should be happy. If you had not read any yet, start with Firelight (Firelight book 1) then Vanish (Firelight book 2) then this one. I went back and forth from reading this book on Kindle, and the Audible that you can get too. The reader did a great job, was easy to understand, was very pleasant. I usually rather read the books myself, but I wanted to try the audible out, and liked the idea it used the Whispersync to keep your spot, so you pick up where you left off easily. I do not want to write any spoilers for this, and just about anything I say will be one. I will say, that its non-stop excitement, emotional turmoil, and adventure. And also Deagan is quite interesting in the new additions. Be sure to check it out, or the series. Its different form your normal paranormal books. Being about Draki, an ancient race that comes from dragons, they can shapeshift to a human form type dragon, with the wings and all, and can fly of course. 5 out of 5 starsshow more
