In this new book, Brian Clough looks at the great, and not so great, players he has worked with and played with, as well as those he has watched in recent years. He assesses their skills and their failings, and recalls key incidents and stories about them that highlight just why they achieved what they did - or failed to live up to their promise. As one of the great managers of all time, he looks at the current crop of incumbents and gives his opinions on their methods. Who does he think the best of the current era: Ferguson, Wenger or the newcomer Mourinho? Does he think that in this era anyone could match his achievement and take a smaller club to the title, or does it have to be one of the big clubs nowadays? Above all, this is a hugely entertaining read that will delight all Clough's many fans around the country. Who knows? If the manager of your club is reading it, they might even learn something!

About Brian Clough

As a player for Middlesbrough and Sunderland, Brian Clough was one of the most prolific goalscorers of all time, with 251 league goals in 274 games, but it was as a manager that he became best known. He took two unfashionable clubs, Derby County and Nottingham Forest, to the league title. At Forest, he also won two successive European Cups and four League Cups. He retired from management in 1993, and is widely believed to be the greatest manager England never had.
