Heroes and Martyrs
Kristian is a classic American capitalist, who was forced by his parents to spend his life in Switzerland. In his early twenties, he decides to go to work in Nicaragua on a coffee plantation. There he meets Sandinistas, an equivalent of the Communists he dislikes so much. During his stay, Kristian embarks on a journey with a sick pregnant woman, her US-hating revolutionary husband, and a friend who seems too good to be true. What was supposed to be an over-night trip turns into an odyssey that leads them across Central America and changes Kristian's life forever.
