Henry Augustine Miley, Jr. (February 14, 1915 - February 6, 2010) was a United States Army four star general who served as Commanding General, United States Army Materiel Command (CG AMC) from 1970 to 1975. Miley was born in Boston, Massachusetts on February 14, 1915. He graduated from historic Boston Latin School and began his military career at the United States Military Academy at West Point. He graduated from the Academy in June 1940 and was commissioned a second lieutenant in the Coast Artillery Corps. His first station was at Fort Monroe, Virginia, where he was assigned to the 2nd Coast Artillery Regiment. In December 1941, he moved with the 57th Coast Artillery to Hawaii, to garrison the north shore of Oahu.
