Trowbridge is a town steeped in history. Once famous for its booming textile industry in the seventeenth century, today - beneath its distinctive, pretty stone walls - lurks a series of disturbing tales, including the grisly discovery in the Chicago Rock that led to voilent poltergeist activity, ghostly goings-on at the Rose & Crown, where regulars reportedly return from beyond the grave, and the remains of a tenth-century graveyard from Trowbridge Castle discovered beneath Peewee's Tavern. Featuring exceptional photographs, original research, and interviews with eyewitnesses, this eerie book will appeal to locals and enthusiasts of the paranormal alike.
