Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Hartlebury railway station serves the village of Hartlebury in Worcestershire. All trains serving the station are operated by London Midland; however, Hartlebury has only a limited service, especially outside peak hours. The station is unstaffed and is about half a mile to the east of the village. Hartlebury station was opened by the Oxford, Worcester and Wolverhampton Railway in 1852, and from 1862 to 1963 it served as the starting point of the Severn Valley Railway, which ran to Shrewsbury in Shropshire, a distance of 40 miles.
