Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Haras Fyre, also professionally known as Patrick Grant, was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. He is a BMI affiliated songwriter as well as a singer and multi-instrumentalist. Born to Christian musicians who were both blind, Haras' upbringing included music ranging from Victor Herbert to Frankie Valli (Valli also from Newark). Haras credits radio personality "Cousin Brucie" Morrow's extraordinary range of music presentation as having played a major role in encouraging Haras' musical diversity. Haras was also hooked on traditional church hymn harmonies but credits gifted church pianist/organist "Esther W." as being the inspiration for his lifelong individual musical journey. "Esther was a dazzlingly talented trained pianist who nonetheless wanted to hear me play my little self-taught 3-finger piano. Esther shared her love of 'emotional piano' and showed me that music has nothing to do with 'correctly playing notes;' music is the revelation of authentic emotions through an instrument."show more
