Review quote

"This exceptional volume illustrates why many consider LeCroy to be one of the field's leading experts on youth treatment. Any practitioner or student who works with youth should have a copy of this book on their desk. A warning is in order, however: never loan this book to anyone, because once 'borrowed' it is unlikely to be returned."--Kevin Corcoran, Professor, School of Social Work, Portland State University"Amidst the current controversy of evidence-based practice, LeCroy's new edition of treatment manuals for children and adolescents is welcome. His collection of evidence-based prevention and treatment manuals reflects not only his own energy and years of clinical experience but also those of his esteemed contributors, many of whom are luminaries in the field. The contributors provide us a rich glimpse into what works for a variety of social and clinical problems. Overall, this volume is conceptually rich, clinically savvy, research-driven, and respectful of various theoretical persuasions and positions. This is a book that belongs in all graduate training programs that espouse evidence-based practice and on the book shelves of all clinicians who work with youth. They deserve the very best we can offer them."-- Thomas H. Ollendick, University Distinguished Professor, Department of Psychology and Child Study Center, Virginia Tech"Dr. LeCroy's compilation of protocols is like a "greatest hits" of evidence-based practices and cognitive-behavioral procedures. For anyone seeking exposure to many of the latest innovations in child treatment and prevention, this book is more than just an excellent reference; it contains the detailed steps on how to get these procedures working in practice. There is something here for everyone."--Bruce F. Chorpita, Ph.D., Professor, Department of Psychology, University of California-Los Angeles"This exceptional volume illustrates why many consider LeCroy to be one of the field's leading experts on youth treatment.
