Flora, Associate Director & Head of Pharmacology and Regulatory Toxicology Department at Defence Research and Development Establishment, Gwalior, India, is engaged in research related to studying the mechanism and mode of action of heavy metals with particular interest in the development of a new molecule engineered for therapy of chronic arsenic poisoning. He has delivered lectures in USA, Germany, Australia, Italy, Czech Republic, UK etc. He has published over 260 research papers in highly rated peer reviewed journals, including more than 60 Review article/ book chapters, which have been widely cited in international literature.
