Description

In the 1920s and '30s, H. P. Lovecraft pioneered a new type of fiction that fused elements of supernatural horror with the concepts of visionary science fiction. Lovecraft's tales of cosmic horror revolutionised modern horror fiction and earned him the reputation of the most influential American writer of weird tales since Edgar Allan Poe. "H. P. Lovecraft: The Complete Fiction" collects for the first time in a single volume all of Lovecraft's groundbreaking fiction. The book is exquisitely designed with bonded-leather bindings, distinctive gilt edging and an attractive silk-ribbon bookmark. Decorative, durable, and collectible, the Leatherbound Classics series offers hours of pleasure to readers young and old and is an indispensable cornerstone for any home library.

Our customer reviews

i have read some unsettling reviews for this product and about it's "hundreds" if not "thousands" of typing errors. i had also read about this 2011 version being much more ameliorated. i don't mind that much about typos existing in a more that one thousand page book, what i would loathe is finding out that the sum of them is really that big... can please someone offer some feedback on the matter? thank youshow more

I just love this compilation. I have often said that good books need to be bound in such a way that they could endure the tides of time, and this one is the exact embodiment of my desire. The notes preceding the novels are also invaluable, and the somewhat improved editing is also appreciated. Not to mention the contents: the complete opus of the master of macabre (excluding master Poe here only) is, in itself, sufficient to make any knowledgeable reader addicted to this book. Spot on!show more
