Description

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Grays railway station is a railway station located in the town of Grays in the borough and unitary authority of Thurrock in the East of England. Although outside London fare zones 1 to 6, the station became part of the Oyster card pay-as-you-go rail network in January 2010. It was opened in 1854 as part of the London, Tilbury and Southend Railway. Until the early 1900s the station was known as 'Grays Thurrock'. In February 2005, the station environment was refurbished, in particular the subway linking the platforms, as well as the surrounding highway infrastructure.show more
