During the 1992 Los Angeles riots, seven-year-old David Cho is orphaned when his parents are killed during the 1992 L.A. riots. Upon entering the orphanage, he is very withdrawn and often fights the other kids. Years later, a loving black couple adopts him and brings him to live in Jordan Downs. He gets off to a rocky start with his new family, the Starnes, as they try to heal his emotional scars. Eventually he develops a deep bond with their daughter Ebony. Soon, however, a gang of Korean thugs, the Kim Park Warriors, with roots in Koreatown, start killing blacks in revenge for the murder of David's father who used to be a Kim Park Warrior before buying the rights to the 7-Eleven he worked in. A gang war between the Kim Park Warriors and the Grape Street Crips is brewing. Can David shield Ebony from the ensuing violence? Don't miss this dramatic thriller!
