Graham Norton's Big Apple
From his very first Series "So Graham Norton" in 1998, this pint sized Irish comedian has been making a big noise in the comedy world not, just on Channel 4 but now on the BBC with his new series the "Graham Norton Effect" and also in the US where he is a big star. This series made by Indie Unique was recorded over six hours in front of a live New York audience just before September 11th, hence it was never broadcast on Radio 4 as intended. The themes are Love and Sex, Money, Consumerism, Religion and On The Town. The format is a live recording in front of a lively 'Here' theater audience made up of native New Yorkers, Brits and his Irish fans. The comedy is cutting edge and develops the style of his own TV shows with a mix of stand up, live interviews and audience interaction. Full of Graham's sparkling wit and racy double intend res this is really a unique series.
