In this story, you will learn about prayer, love, pain, abuse, loss, family secrets, forgiveness, and depression. You will see how someone can be "Broken" on the inside but look whole on the outside. We've all experienced some of the things I mentioned above; many of us have dealt with them all in one way or another but I wanted to talk about it a way of which we all can relate. I wanted to show how brushing things under the rug, not dealing with hurtful situations, and your feelings could break you down physically, mentally, and wreak havoc in your life and the lives of those around you. After reading this, I challenge you to evaluate your own lives and the people in it. Ask yourself if you're truly happy or are you brushing things under the rug. There's a difference between letting it go and hiding it. Letting it go means you've dealt with it, talked about it, and done the best you can to find closure. Hiding it is just the opposite. Just because you ignore something doesn't mean it's gone. It's just sitting there growing, taking up more and more space, until you cannot ignore it anymore or until it explodes and turns your life upside more
